New Years Ideas

New Years is right around the corner. Since this will be my last post of 2010. Here is a list on five things to do on New Years Eve.

1) Have a cab on Speed Dial: We here at TBB do not support drinking and driving so DON’T do it!

2) Stay home: Fire up some mini snacks and drink inside with some friends.

3) Sleep: I know many people who just sleep into the New Year so they can prepare themselves for the new year.

4) Get a Hotel: Rent out a room with some friends and stay there. I don’t think the staff would mind having some extra guests.

5) Go to Manhattan: I highly recommend against this, but you guys do what you want.

Things to do on a Snow Day

We here at The Bachelor Bible are getting hammered with snow on the East Coast.. So, what do we do? We can trek it to the mall to return gifts if we want, (thanks mom for the ugly sweater).

1) Movie/TV: My DVR is screaming at me. Time to catch up on CSI, The Walking Dead, NCIS, and whatever else I record recently.

2) Read: I honestly hate reading, but that’s what you do when you have nothing else to do. Lately, I have been reading Gary Vaynerchuk Crush It. It’s worth the read.

3) Video Games: Typical, but I still have not reached Inheritor in Halo 3 Reach yet.

4) Music: There are so many good bands out there, but dont get the credit they deserve. Here are two awesome bands that you might not know about: Lights Resolve & Avon Junkies.

5) Pro-Create: OK. OK. Typical answer from a guy but nows the time so the kid/baby is born in the Summerish. You have all day to try to get it right.

Man Moment: Punt Return the Giants Will NEVER Forget.

This past Sunday, December 19th 2010, the New York Giants plated their division rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles. The Giants could see overtime over the horizon. With 14 seconds left in the game, all their punter, Matt Dodge had to do was kick the football out of bounce so they could stop the Eagles run game on the opposite side of the field. Instead, he decided to kick it to the Eagles best punt returner, Desean Jackson. Not only did Jackson drop the catch, he had to run back a few yards to pick it up. He then ran it in for a touchdown and won the game for them.

Congrats Desean, you get the title of this weeks Man Moment.

(Editors Note: We are not bias because we are all New York Jet fans.)

Christmas Shopping Tips: Part III

So you spent all your money on Christmas gifts this year you couldn’t afford. Great! Your credit card company must love you. So, how do you start saving for next year? Since I started my first job, I have always budgeted my money across the board. It’s probably one of the best things my parents have helped me with. Say you get paid 4500.00 a week from your job and you spend about $1,000 on gifts every Christmas. Here is an idea, take $20.00 of every paycheck and put it into safe keeping somewhere or go to your local bank and tell them to take $20.00 from your pay every week. Trust me, the bank loves when you do this. Before you know it, Christmas 2011 will be here and you will have money to spend and you wont have to take it directly out of your pay. Trust me, it works.

Mistletoe.

It’s that time of year again ladies and gents! That’s right… Christmas Time. Now while Christmas is supposed to be filled with cheer and love, you and I both know that it doesn’t always work out that way. Families fight, people never talk again, and relationships come to a bloody end.

If this is your first Christmas with your partner, it could go one of three ways- great, bad, and disastrous. There’s a good possibility that Christmas Eve or Day will be the first time your meeting the entire family. And what do families love to do? (or at least mine anyway) Tell embarrassing, horrifying stories about you. Why? Well because they love us that’s why! So what do you do? When your partner is red in the face from a night full of wine and laughing at embarrassing stories of you, don’t take it personally. It was your past and you know damn well that they’re funny…now. Just wait until you go to their families house and you can laugh about them.

If for some reason your partner isn’t vibing well with the family and you feel a war coming along, think of an exit word like in Four Christmases and get the hell outta there!

Sunday’s Sights

Remember in high school when you wanted to look up girl’s skirts? If you went to Catholic school, this was easy. All you needed to do was stand at the bottom of the stairs and look up. In public school, this was a little harder because it was obvious when you were standing there. Well, with this set of tits, it’s not hard to look up the shirt. Her boobs are so massive and her shirt is so small, just a small peek looking up from a table works.
