Check Out: TV Themed Chuck Taylor All Stars

Our buddy Jon Defreest’s pop culture illustration collection is beginning to turn into an embarrassment of riches as he continues to churn out awesomeness on top of awesomeness. Today’s TV Edition Chuck Taylor All Stars belong in a museum, or on my feet, if they actually existed. I hate to break it to Walter White, but I think having your own Chuck Taylors takes you out of the 99%. Just sayin’.

Walking Dead and Dexter after the jump. If only I had finished building the time machine I could go back to Halloween night and complete my self-aware zombie costume with Walking Dead All Stars. (via: uproxx)

Grow A Beard To Get Chicks?

Women love beards. Some of the biggest sex symbols today are men with a lot of facial hair. Plenty of celebrities are growing out their beards to get with the times. You see more and more young adults with scruffy faces anywhere you go. They may look dirty, but they know what they’re doing. Look as disheveled and repulsive as possible, and the girls seem to get spaghetti legs over it. The trick is to not smell too bad.

Hey, ladieees

If you’re single and don’t have any reason to keep a shaved face, try out the bearded look. Put it to the test. Perhaps you’ll get more attention from the ladies. It’s certainly easy to do. Think about it. All you have to do is be lazy. Easy enough right? Women everywhere are declaring their love for this look, and if your sex life could use some improvement, you’ve got nothing to lose. Obviously, you’ll need some charm to win women over, but the facial hair could be the catalyst you need. Maybe the era of the Metrosexual is over. Please be true.

Megan Fox For Armani

I’ve never seen Megan Fox look so beautiful. This is a really big change from her usual heavy make-up and terrible street clothes look. Her make-up is light and gives her the more natural look, which I think sometimes looks more attractive on any female.

Lohan May Look Like A Skank, But Has Nice Cleavage

Ah, Lindsay Lohan. Looks skankier and skankier with every photo shoot that comes out. To be honest, she doesn’t look too bad in these shots for Terry Richardson, but then again, who’s lookin’ at her face?

Lindsay Lohan, in Paris for Fashion Week, was spotted with  taking pictures and showing a lot of cleavage. Pretty much what you expect from a girl blowing off her responsibilities.

Besides that, Lindsay also penned a short essay for Marilyn: Intimate Exposures, a new book about Marilyn Monroe. She starts off talking about he she can relate to Marilyn Monroe but it quickly devolves into an essay about herself and how everyone is out to get her.

‘I was twelve and watching the film “Niagara” over and over again when I was shooting The Parent Trap. I didn’t refer to it as film noir then. I just thought it was dark and full of emotion. Marilyn was the beautiful bad girl in that tight, rose-colored dress. The character she played was strong and taking control, which I unconsciously knew at that young age was a necessary quality for a woman. I had seen what my mother, whom I love, had gone through with my father. She, I and my brother Michael, my sister Aliana, and my youngest brother Dakota were in a constant state of uncertainty. I would have to put myself between him and my siblings.’

Essentials For Your Wardrobe

Do you have the right things in your wardrobe? Let’s go over a few, shall we?

1) Dark Colored Tailored Suit. Black is probably the easiest thing to own. It goes with anything and you can wear multiple color button ups under it and it will always look good. But, don’t forget about dark green, navy, and gray.

2) Fitted White Button-Down Dress Shirt. You need to have this in your closet. It goes great under that dark suit I told you to purchase, make it casual with a pair of jeans, or with dress pants to the office.

3) Neck Ties.

Ties are a very powerful piece in a man’s wardrobe. You can never go wrong with dark, solid color because they are versatile year round. For the more fashion forward man, investing into power ties with bold colors, patterns and textures can give your wardrobe a flashy yet subtle edge.

4) Leather Jacket. If you don’t already own one, shame on you.

5) Well Fitted Jeans.

The fit is probably the most crucial factor when buying jeans. Many men make the mistake of choosing the wrong cut for their body type, so choose cautiously. Jeans comes in many varieties, cuts, colors and styles but not all denim is acceptable for all seasons and occasions. However, having a pair of well fitted, dark, solid color denim jeans will prove more versatile than lighter denim because it can often be made dressy or casual. Choose your denim according to your budget and lifestyle.

Nike Makes The Best Custome Shoes Ever

I not the type of person to go crazy over shoes, even though I am female, but I’ve never wanted to go out & buy a million pairs of sneakers before. These custom kicks are pretty sick. My favorite has to be The Beatles and The Simpson ones. Someone point me in the direction of the nearest Nike Town!

Banana Republic Comes Out With Mad Men Line

If you haven’t been over to Banana Republic lately, you should take a peek, especially if your a Man Man fan. They have come out with a new line of clothes inspired by the television show. I totally recommend buying a few pieces of this collections, it may be expensive, but their clothes last and you will look really stylish at that office Christmas party coming up in a few months.

It’s no secret we’ve got a man crush on Don Draper here at Made Man. The protagonist of Mad Men is an icon for the paleomasculine retrosexual. So naturally, we were psyched to see Banana Republic release the Mad Men Collection. With prices ranging from $10 to $375, you can get something sharp on any budget. Exquisitely tailored for an off-the-rack collection, the line offers everything from pocket squares to two-button blazers. Even $50 buys you a fedora that will instantly class up whatever else you’re wearing. Survey the full line at your local Banana Republic retailer or at their website here. And move quickly—this limited edition collection is selling out faster than Draper goes through a bottle of single-malt Scotch. (via: mademan)

Check Out: Nike Foamposite Pro Pine Green

These are awesome looking. This would be part of a nice Christmas package Rex Ryan could give his players since they match their uniform pretty perfectly. They aren’t even that expensive so they are a great investment for anyone.

Nike’s space-age shoes get imbued with an iridescent pine green and black colorway that looks great whether your going for a walk, shooting hoops, or casual day at the office.$250 (via: theawesomer)

The Most Expensive Watches Around

When I say expensive, I;m not talking about a few thousand dollars here, I’m talking like your house expensive. Some of these watches are millions of dollars. Why would someone want to wear something so expensive on their wrist? I don’t think all of the jewerly I own equals a million dollars.

Patek Philippe Reference 1591

Price tag: $2,263,964

This normal-looking watch was sold at an auction for well over $2 million. It immediately became the most expensive stainless-steel watch ever sold. If you ever inherit a Patek Philippe in stainless steel, then you’d better take care of it. Patek Philippe watches in steel are more rare than their siblings in gold and therefore fetch incredibly high prices at auctions.

Honestly, this one isn’t even that nice looking. I like the cool logo on the bottom with the celestial theme. For a price like this, I hope the watches plays music or something.

Patek Philippe Reference 2499 First Series

Price tag: $2,280,000

Again, a Patek Philippe. But this one is made in rose gold rather than stainless steel. So this proves it’s also smart to hang on to rose-gold watches you inherit. It might just be a rare one like this reference 2499 limited edition of only five pieces.

This one is way nicer looking. The gold embeleshment makes it look really sharp. This one is definitly an investment from this company, rather than the stainless steel one.

Patek Philippe Supercomplication

Price tag: $11 million

And, again, a Patek Philippe, a brand that is famous for the many highly collectible watches that are sold for millions at auctions. Here’s the Patek Philippe Supercomplication, a yellow-gold pocket watch, that was created for banker Henry Graves Jr. in 1932. Graves had a competition with James Ward Packard (of the Packard car company) for having the world’s most complicated watch. This Patek Philippe Supercomplication ensured Graves of winning this contest, and it was Patek Philippe who created a watch with even more complications (the Patek Philippe Caliber 89).

$11 million?? Are you crazy? It’s a pocket watch!

The 201-Carat Chopard

Price tag: $25 million

This is the world’s most expensive watch, and it’s made of a 15-carat pink diamond, a 12-carat blue diamond and an 11-carat white diamond. They also used some white gold and some yellow gold, and, of course, 163 carats of smaller diamonds, coming to a total of 201 carats.

There is no reason for anyone to own this watch. It’s not even pretty. Honestly, it looks tacky and I wouldn’t even think it’s more than a few thousand. If I ever see someone out with this watch on in New York City I am going to heckle them because they have a nasty piece of jewerly on their wrist.
