No Sex? Maybe It’s Because Your Fat.

 

Drinking and being over weight can affect your sex life guys. A new study shows over weight men have a lower testosterone count which can lead to bad sex in the bedroom! Hit the gym and drop those pounds so those ladies you pick up in the bar will answer the phone if you decide to call them back.

A link between well-being and a good sex life has been discovered, and it’s bad news for the beer bellies.

When men gain weight — the bad kind — a metabolic change happens that drops the hormone levels in the body. Researchers from the University of Buffalo recently determined that obese men have lower levels of testosterone, and when that male hormone drops, one of the biggest victims is bedroom performance.

The study shows that 40% of obese men have abnormally low levels of testosterone, which is bad news considering roughly one-third of the American male population is obese. (via: askmen)

Staten Island Slim Down: Part II

Well the first week is over done and with. I analyzed everything I ate, and worked out everyday. My work-out schedule is currently

Monday: Upper-Body Workout & Cardio

Tuesday: Lower-Body Workout & Cardio

Wednesday: Cardio

Thursday: Upper-Body Workout & Cardio

Friday: Lower-Body Workout & Cardio

On the weekends I am doing some type of cardio, so I don’t put on extra calories that are not needed. After one week of watching everything I did here are my updated stats:

Weight :196 from 202

BMI: 27.3 from 28.3

Body Fat: 23.2 from 24.5

Anybody can lose weight it just takes time and effort.

Staten Island Slim Down: Part I

Over the next 10 weeks, I will be participating in the Staten Island Slim Down Challenge. I joined so I can lose the weight that I put on after high school and then some. I do mini diets here and there, but this time, I going to be putting my body through hell and back. I have a few fitness advisers that I know personally, to push me passed the 4th wall. Here are my stats as the diet begins today/Monday:

I’m also going to be recorded everything I eat to track calories and such.

Do Men Wax?

Last week, Carlo over at DAPS.tv went to Dyanna Body and Nail Spa and got a Brazilian Wax.

Man, oh man. What a week. What a hairless and wild week.

I’ve always felt like all of those sexy women you see on the tv, except now I look like one.

As you probably already know, I was invited to Dyanna Body and Nail Spa to check out their waxing situation and when I couldn’t decide on what to wax, you guys made it very very clear thatyou hate me and wish to laugh at my expense. But that’s all cool with me, so no biggie.

Well last week I headed over to Dyanna Body and Nail Spa and met the whole gang, got waxed back into pre-pubescence and had an overall wonderful time. It was so fun, that a video was made:

To recap, my Brazilian waxing went very smoothly, and was more or less painless (save for a few specific places). The staff at Dyanna made me feel very comfortable, and at home, and relaxed enough to let a complete stranger pull hair out of my butt crack after pouring hot wax in it.

Late Night Snack

Almost nothing is as worse than the drive home from work at night after a long shift and being able to hear your stomach, yelling at you over the radio that your hungry. To eat or not to eat? Weʼve always been told itʼs bad to eat right before you go to sleep because
your metabolism is slower at night. True. But that doesnʼt mean that you shouldnʼt eat anything. If you wary on eating a full meal but still need something to hold you over fruits, nuts, and dairy products make a great snack. (Putting some nuts such as almonds and some sliced fruit, like strawberries into a salad with some turkey or chicken is delicious and healthy!)

Tip: Try stretching a little bit before you lay down for bed. It will help your body burn some extra calories and it will help you sleep better.
