If my girlfriend did this, I would change my phone number, get a restraining order & kill her. And, dudes, if you have a crazy girl, break it off, it’s not worth it!
If there is a record for calling someone too many times, then this particular woman from The Netherlands most certainly has it. Maybe she should call the Guinness guys… no, wait, maybe not.
The 42-year-old woman in question — whose name Dutch courts have understandably not revealed — is alleged to have rung up her one-time lover 65,000 times before the 62-year-old ex-boyfriend gave up and called the police. We’re just praying she didn’t leave voicemails…
The police took the gentleman’s call very seriously, arresting the suspect and searching her Rotterdam home for mobile phones and computers.
Her defence, would you believe it, was that they were actually still an item during the 65,000 call period, and that that number of calls during that time was not excessive. Seriously, though, that’s the excuse you’re going for lady? Brave. Very brave.
Needless to say, the court presiding over the incident ordered her to never call him again. (via: asylum)
