Please don’t go around telling everyone that you’re the underdog of DWTS because you’re not. You know why? Because you have this mass following for no reason that will vote for you.

1) Pulled Pork: This stuff is amazing. It melts in your mouth and is worth any amount of money you spend on it. Jack Daniels Pulled Pork

2) Mexican/Tacos: This place might be a little far depending where you’re coming from, but is well worth the trip and hands down beats any other Mexican food establishment. Visit Taco Bill’s at Englishtown Auction in NJ.  They offer “football packs” on Sundays that are a sure win!

3) BBQ: It can get boring but just mix up what you choose to make each week.  Instead of dogs and burgers try some ribs or chicken wings.

4) Pizza: It’s quick, it’s easy and usually you will have your order in 45 minutes or less – not to mention it’s ri-friggin’-diculously delicious!

What do you eat during the football season?

They say opposites attract, and whoever “they” are, are right. Maybe having too much in common with someone can become boring and routine, so opposites can seem exciting. However, with opposites, differences can (and probably will) turn into arguments. I will admit, sometimes I do enjoy a good argument, especially when I know Iʼm right, but arguing doesnʼt solve ANYTHING. Best thing to do? Compromise, compromise, compromise! If you want any relationship to work, sometimes you just have to suck up your pride and find that happy medium where the both of you are comfortable. If you arenʼt willing to compromise, then you may just have to cut your losses and move on. You canʼt expect your partner to compromise their beliefs/routines/etc. if you arenʼt willing to do the same with yours.

When having this conversation, start off by saying something along the lines of, “I know you arenʼt happy with the way _________is, do you have any suggestions on how we can fix this problem? How about ___________.”

Yes, this might sound a bit text-book boring, but throwing in unnecessary words will only cause more problems. By you being the bigger person and starting off the compromise, it will show that you care and are willing to make things work. Hopefully they will reciprocate.

The hosts of Monday Night Football this week was a pre-season match up between the New York Jets and New York Giants. They were unveiling to the world their new stadium, New Meadowlands Stadium, that they both share. I had the pleasure of attending the game since I am a Jet season ticket holder. During the second quarter, Eli Manning took an awful hit due to Brandon Jacobs running into him and messing up the play. As a result, Eli was taken out of the game and needed 12 stitches.

1) Viewing: If you are going to a venue with no seats, just know that you will have to push your way through the crowd to get to the area you want. Make sure you get there and stay there.

2) Pre-Game: If at all possible, drink in the parking lot. One beer at a venue will cost you about $10, when a 6 pack will cost you about the same. You do the math.

Almost nothing is as worse than the drive home from work at night after a long shift and being able to hear your stomach, yelling at you over the radio that your hungry. To eat or not to eat? Weʼve always been told itʼs bad to eat right before you go to sleep because
your metabolism is slower at night. True. But that doesnʼt mean that you shouldnʼt eat anything. If you wary on eating a full meal but still need something to hold you over fruits, nuts, and dairy products make a great snack. (Putting some nuts such as almonds and some sliced fruit, like strawberries into a salad with some turkey or chicken is delicious and healthy!)

Tip: Try stretching a little bit before you lay down for bed. It will help your body burn some extra calories and it will help you sleep better.

We did come home with a W and made it to the championship game, but I am dead tired. A few quick tips from friends informed me how to have a “power boost” until I actually get some real sleep.

1) Drink anything with caffeine: Coffee, Soda, Tea, or even an energy drink. But make sure you watch your intake, because you might crasher harder than you think.

2) Cold Shower: The cold water on your body will help wake you up and make you feel new again.

3) Breakfast: Go to your local Dunkin’ Donuts and get some eggs whites with toast.

4) Exercise: I think this helped me this morning. This will get the blood flowing and your muscle moving.

5) Music: Loud rock music can awaken your senses and get you going.

Remember these tips for next time. As for me I’m going to bed finally.

Please make up your mind. I am sick and tired of hearing about if you are or aren’t going to retire every dam season. I was quite excited that you were signed by the New York Jets two years ago, since I am a fan, and was sadly disappointed with how the season turned out. You just needed to go somewhere for one year until you could get to the Vikings. Did you really have to show that you didn’t care you were there every time you stepped out onto the field and played like crap? You should have at last tried to make it a good season.

I can’t stand the fact that before every season, the focus goes to you and your decision. Don’t open your mouth unless you know what your decision is, please.

When you first begin talking to someone, there is something that must be discussed right away or your in for a roller-coaster ride of bullshit. Either this is just a fling where you will have great sex (hopefully) or you will be dating at some point, where feelings will come into play. Sounds easy right? Well itʼs not. One of the biggest mistakes you can make is assume that the other person wants to be more than, when they donʼt.

This doesnʼt have to be an awkward conversation either. Youʼre both mature adults right? (Yes, even though you play video games for 5 hours after work in your undies, you can still be mature). If you were looking for something more and she isnʼt, then take it for what it is and just enjoy the fun. But there are two rules that you must follow.

1.Donʼt ask questions! You donʼt want to know if sheʼs dating someone else, if she is sleeping with someone else, where she is going or who she is with. It has to be strictly a “Want to come over?” relationship. The more you know, the more you will become needy, get an attitude, jealous and just fuck this up. (Say no all you want, this ALWAYS happens).

2.Donʼt say how you feel! Now normally I would suggest that you always tell someone how you feel about them, but in this case itʼs better to just keep quiet. If you tell her that you are catching feelings, she may run for cover and thatʼs the end of your fun- stress-free relationship.

As long as that boundary isnʼt crossed, tip-toed near or even glanced at you should have no problems.

1) HootSuite/TweetDeck: If you are a Facebook/Twitter junkie like myself, these apps will consolidate both streams into one app. You can message, reply, comment,@ someone all in one. It’s easier than switching back and forth to the Facebook and Twitter apps. I believe the newest version of Hootsuite will have a check in feature of Foursquare.

2) At Bat 2010: Being a baseball fan, I miss a lot of games while I’m at work. Never fear! The At Bat app is here. It feature all live audio streams of every game, scoreboard, news, standings, videos, and video streaming of certain games (out-of market).

3)Shazam: No, it’s not a new marketing product, but this app will tell you what song is playing on the radio by just holding your iPhone up to the speaker. BOOM! 20 Seconds later the app will come back and tell you what song is playing and save it into your history. It will also give you the option to buy the song from iTunes.

4)Mint.com: Mint will keep tracking of all your checking, savings, credit card, & loan information all in one location. It’s a quick and easy app that will tell you how much money you have in each account.

5)RedLaser: Recently turned FREE, this app will use your iPhone camera and take a picture of a SKU and tell you the best price for that product. I recently heard that some retail storeswill actually price match the price that you come up with on RedLaser so they don’t loose your business.

Mega Hype! Yogi Bear On The Big Screen

Oh shit, are y’all excited about the new Yogi Bear movie? The first promotional poster was given the big reveal by Warner Brothers last night. Yes! The demand for this flick has been way high, dawg. Like everybody wanted a Yogi Bear film…espesh in 3D. It’s finally coming out in December! And in the same week TRON: Legacy gets released. Merry Christmas to everybody! I know what I’m seeing that week, motherfuckers. Fuckin’ Tron is for fags.

Dan Akroyd and Justin Timberlake are the big selling points for this. Not gonna lie…I’m def excited about sweet JT as Boo Boo. My fingers are crossed for mad Timberlake bangers on the soundtrack. Also, it looks like Dr. Ray Stantz is following in the footsteps of his old Ghostbuster pal, Bill Murray, by voicing an iconic animal. The Garfield movies were excellent pieces of cinema, so Dannyboy needs to step the fuck up here. Check out the trailer! OMFGahh.

Have you ever played a game, lets just say bowling, with a friend or acquaintance of the opposite sex and realized you were very attracted to them all of a sudden? You just looked at them and got the chills? Weird huh… Itʼs actually not as weird as you might think. Games create competition because they have rules and rewards and there is a challenge. The reward could be something as simple as loser buys the winner a beer, dinner, a lap dance (if your lucky). And whats the reward for the loser? Watching the other person do their victory dance. Everyone has one, I know I do and itʼs quite amusing. And then theres the “Na na na na na na, I beat you, I beat you!!” Although that might be a bit second grade.

Just look at animals, we will use lions as an example. Two male lions see a poor, helpless deer; Bambi (insert awww here). The female lion is lounging out under a tree watching as the two go for Bambi. Who is she going to be more attracted too? The one who got Bambi. Same concept for us humans.

Brain waves are going, juices are flowing, your in a good mood and BAMMM. Attraction.

My fellow writer Craig said in his last post that video games were a great idea for a first date and he was definitely right. Games = competition. Where do you usually play video games? On a bed or a couch, your all set for a good night!

Many do not know him by name but Mark David Chapman is the person/animal who killed John Lennon. Chapman, 55, is serving a sentence of 20 years to life in prison for the shooting death of Lennon outside his New York City apartment on December 8, 1980. A few years ago Chapman, was up for parole but was denied “due to concern for the public safety and welfare.” Guess what? He is up for parole again and Yoko Ono wants it denied.

Well Duh!!!

He killed John Lennon. I honestly think for Mark’s well being and safety, he should stay in jail. Some crazy Beatles fan might try to have him killed.

Sorry Mark, I know you are sorry, but I think you should stay in jail and enjoy your time there.
