The New York Knicks are in the playoffs, along side the New York Rangers. The last time this happened was in 1997. As you can imagine, us here in New York are quite happy. Madison Square Garden is going to be rocking! On April 10th, the Knicks played the Pacers and it was an incredible game. With 8 seconds left, Carmelo Anthony hit the winning shot. The Pacers called time out and when they got the ball, Anthony blocked a shot with 3 seconds left, which led to a Knick victory. Watch the amazing video here.

Man Moment: Amar’e Stoudemire’s Monster Block on Lebron James
I may be partial, because I am a huge New York Knick fan, but if your a fan of another team and despise Lebron James, you’ll appreciate this video. On February 27th, the Knicks beat the Miami Heat with a little help from Amar’e with this monster block. Watch how Lebron tries to cry like a baby to the ref and hold his wrist while he looks at the ref like he is waiting for him to call a foul. It was all ball baby.

The Real Reasons Why Your Girl Likes Watching The NBA With You
So you’ve been dating this girl for a while now. She’s really cool. Enjoys spending time with you, likes most of your friends, down to drink at a bar instead of going to see a chick flick, but most importantly, LOVES watching NBA games with you. Unless she is a girl like me, who spent more than 15 years of her life actually playing basketball, there is a pretty good chance she is watching it with you for two reasons. One, because she is trying to impress you and two, because of all the hot guys she gets to watch run up and down the basketball court in those shorts. Yes, I said it. Here are the guys you should keep an eye out for when they are on the court to see if her eyes perk up!
1) Landry Fields #6 GUARD
This 6’7″ rookie out of Standford brings talent, style and class to the New York Knicks. He was selected in the second round, 39th overall. Also, I think he is gorgeous! He is ranked #16 in the NBA in field goal percentage and ranked #19 in the NBA in steals per turnover and was selected to play in this years Rookie Challenge, where the rookies came out on top.
2) Kris Humphries #43 FORWARD
You wanna know why your ladies eye are locked on this man? Because Kim Kardashian is dating him, and for no other reason. All the ladies wanna know why Kim has turned from NFL star to NBA star for the New Jersey Nets. He has been in the league for 6 years. He is ranked #9 in the NBA in offensive rebounds and #10 in defensive rebounds.

Man Moment: Top 10 Rookie Plays in November
Since football is over, I have kicked it into high gear with my NBA following. Since I am from New York, you have probably already guessed that I am a Knick fan, I sure am. Pay special close to number 7 in the video, it’s from my favorite, and quite adorable, Knick, Landry Fields. All the players in this video are great basketball players and their talents are helping their team to get to the championship game this year.

This Guy Sucks
Yes I said it. The All-Mighty King James. He is causing all this hoopla about what team he will be playing for in the 2010-2011 NBA Season. Just pick a team. Don’t make us wait ‘til Thursday at 9pm to announce it. The Knicks, Cavs, Nets and Heat all want a piece of you and I understand but come on guy – you are not Michael Jordan. I don’t even think he caused as much hoopla when he was playing.
I’m not a huge basketball fan but I will say that this will be awesome for NY. However I hope we don’t put our other NY Superstars in the dark and only focus on “The King.”
Side Note: Don’t you actually have to win something to be called “The King”?
