Antonio Margarito’s Face

According to published reports today, Antonio Margarito’s face got messed up pretty bad by the hands of Manny Pacquaio.

Antonio Margarito’s face took quite a beating in the Pacquiao vs. Margarito live fight last night from Dallas Cowboy’s Stadium that aired on HBO pay per view. Antonio Margarito’s face will require facial surgery, and with last night’s fight, Manny Pacquaio may have also ruined Antonio Margarito’s career, not just his face.

Antonio Margarito will undergo surgery to repair a fractured orbital bone after the injuries he sustained in the fight with Pacquiao. Pacquaio’s trainer, Freddie Roach, is saying that Margarito’s career is likely over after the fight, but his face and career could have been saved if the fight had been stopped by officials.

Manny Pacquiao even tried to get the refs to stop the fight after looking at Antonio Margarito’s face and said, “I told the referee, ‘Look at his eyes, look at his cuts…I did not want to damage him permanently. That’s not what boxing is about.” (via: blogs.babble.com)

THIS GUY SUCKS: Tom Brady

How I despise you Tom Brady. Not only because I am a die-hard New York Jet fan, but you have the one of the biggest mouths in the NFL. What aggravates me about you the most is that during a game, you keep your lousy mouth shut. All your trash talk is in the press. At least Ochocinco backs his trash talk up when he is on the field.

In an interview with Brady on Boston sports radio when he was asked if he has been watching Hard Knocks on HBO. “Honestly, I haven’t turned it on,” Brady said. “I hate the Jets, so I refuse to support that show. I’m sure it’s great TV. I’m glad people are liking it. But that’s just something that I have no interest in watching. I’d love to say a lot of mean things, but I’d rather not do that, either.”
