Thief Takes Photo Of Himself On Phone He Stole, Idiot.

So I hear there is this cool app the iPhone market has that when you take a picture, it automatically uploads it to your Facebook page. Well, this idiot didn’t know that and will 100% get caught with his stupid mistake.

A young Atlanta woman was picking up her child from daycare and had decided to park her car next to a Rav4. The Rav4 had tinted windows and a woman with braided hair appeared to be inside. The victim decided that it was probably another mom waiting for her kid, so she left her car unlocked and went inside to pick up her child.

It wasn’t until after she got home that she realized her purse had been stolen.  Lucky for her, the thug was dumb, and took a picture of himself on his newly stolen phone.

Unfortunately this thug didn’t know that he was using an iPhone that had an app which automatically uploaded pictures to the user’s Facebook wall. The young mother immediately recognized the suspect.

“oh, this is the person that I saw right next to me, but it’s a guy, not a girl.”

Lmfao. So much self ownage here I don’t know where to start. Police are confident they will catch the thief with the excellent resolution of the image. (via: regretfulmorning)

11 Things That Will Cost Less in 2011

We all are trying to save money these days. It’s not easy, but its do-able if you try. Just try and put yourself on a budget, but did you know that 2011 is the year you can SAVE. Product pricing will drop dramatically this year. So why not buy what you are looking to buy:

1) iPhone: So you can’t afford an iPhone 4G with the price tag being 199.99. Ok understandable. ATT/Apple is now offering an 8GB 3GS phone for 49 bucks. Instant Steal.

2) External Computer Drives: 2TB is the new 1TB. Upgrade to one of these and you’ll never have to delete a file just to clear up room.

3) Portable GPS: $40 appears to be the floor in GPS prices. As people have turned to their smartphones and in-car models, portable GPS manufacturers are desperately adding features, driving up prices for new models.

4) Netbooks: You can easily get a mini-laptop for less than 200.00 if you look hard enough. Cheaper than buying an iPad currently at the price tag of $500.00

5) Full-Size Digital SLR Camera: Prices are dropping fast than you can even think.  $300.00 for a decent SLR. Sign me up!

6) SD Cards: As the prices of SLR Cameras will drop so will their accessories.

7) Blu-Ray Player: You will  see them as doorbusters and priced like crockpots in 2011. Goodbye DVD.

8) TV’s: Instant Given. They drop every year. The next phase will be 3-D TV’s. Im calling it now. I give it two years until we watch the Superbowl in 3D.

9) Gaming Consoles: Expect more price drops as new models come out and competition drives down prices.

10) eBook Readers: $99. Im calling it now. Can I place a bet in Vegas for this?

11) Online Services: I have a feeling Netflix will drop their prices again to attract more customers.

Around The Network

Bless Me Father, For I Have Sinned. Oh Wait… There’s An App For That.

Finally I can celebrate my Catholic faith with the best-ist phone out there; my iPhone.

The White Stripes Officially Call It Quits

The White Stripes have made a not so special announcement yesterday. The duo released a letter for fans on their website, announcing they have officially called it quits.

The White Stripes would like to announce that today, February 2nd, 2011, their band has officially ended and will make no further new recordings or perform live. The reason is not due to artistic differences or lack of wanting to continue, nor any health issues as both Meg and Jack are feeling fine and in good health.

The Situation Gets an iPhone App

One again, one of the cast members of The Jersey Shore is raking in the dough, The Situation. They actually gave this guy his own iPhone app. This is appalling. Who in their right mind decided to endorse this guy?

The app is designed to help you be like him, if you want to be lame and sleep around and probably catch herpes. If you watch the show, you know that The Situation is famous for ‘Dodging Grenades’ and ‘GTL’. This app helps you with that and more. It gives you 10 lame exercises to help get your abs looking like his. Yeah, sure. Do these and only these exercises to look like him. No needles??

Get the app here.

5 iPhone Apps You Need

Being an iPhone Developer, I realized their are some apps I always need by my side.

1) HootSuite/TweetDeck: If you are a Facebook/Twitter junkie like myself, these apps will consolidate both streams into one app. You can message, reply, comment,@ someone all in one. It’s easier than switching back and forth to the Facebook and Twitter apps. I believe the newest version of Hootsuite will have a check in feature of Foursquare.

2) At Bat 2010: Being a baseball fan, I miss a lot of games while I’m at work. Never fear! The At Bat app is here. It feature all live audio streams of every game, scoreboard, news, standings, videos, and video streaming of certain games (out-of market).

3)Shazam: No, it’s not a new marketing product, but this app will tell you what song is playing on the radio by just holding your iPhone up to the speaker. BOOM! 20 Seconds later the app will come back and tell you what song is playing and save it into your history. It will also give you the option to buy the song from iTunes.

4)Mint.com: Mint will keep tracking of all your checking, savings, credit card, & loan information all in one location. It’s a quick and easy app that will tell you how much money you have in each account.

5)RedLaser: Recently turned FREE, this app will use your iPhone camera and take a picture of a SKU and tell you the best price for that product. I recently heard that some retail storeswill actually price match the price that you come up with on RedLaser so they don’t loose your business.
