Charlie Sheen says he’s “just as curious as everyone else” to see the new Charlie Harper-less version of “Two and a Half Men” next month … insisting, “I think Ashton’s gonna kill it.”
Sheen was in L.A. with his pal Chuck Zito yesterday … and though he insisted he’ll be “rooting hard” for the new version … he quipped, “It’ll be nice to know that they get some carryover ratings from people being sorta curious about what happened to their guy.”
Sheen also pointed out that the new “Men” premieres during the same night he’ll be the target on the “Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen” … saying, “It’s gonna be a big night for everybody.” (via: TMZ)
I don’t think the show is going to last too long with Kutcher in it. One season, maybe two. Though I like Kutcher, no one is going to be able to replace Sheen as a main character on this show. Good luck Ashton, maybe you can bring out some Kelso jokes if it starts to bomb.
It’s official … Charlie Sheen will be the next “roastee” at the next Comedy Central Roast in September.
Sheen released a statement saying, “You could say I’ve been providing kindling for this Roast for a while … It’s time to light it up.& It’s going to be epic.”
The Roast will be taped in Los Angeles on September 10 … and it will air on Comedy Central on September 19 — which is, not coincidentally, the same night the revamped “Two and a Half Men” is set to premiere.
A rep for Comedy Central says, “Charlie has assured us that nothing will be off limits in this Roast which scares even us.”
Charlie Sheen will be the subject of the next Comedy Central roast, because he’s just a lovable scamp like Hugh Hefner, not a dude with serious problems. The trainwreck will film on September 10 and air on September 19. “You could say I’ve been providing kindling for this roast for a while,” said Chuckles. “It’s time to light it up. It’s going to be epic.” (via: Jezebel)
I am actually quite excited about this news. Who will host the roast? Who will speak? Will anyone from his family be there? You know it won’t be any of his co-stars from T&AHM or Chuck Lorre because they will be watching the premier of the revamped show. We shall see!
“Two and a Half Men” will turn dark for just a minute or two when it premieres in September … because Alan and Jake will learn Charlie Harper bit the dust.
Sources connected with the show tell TMZ … Chuck Lorre‘s plan is to make sure Charlie Sheen can NEVER come back on the show. Although the first show won’t be filmed until August 5, producers have been kicking around scenarios, which include Charlie driving a car over a cliff.
Of course, it would be art imitating life, because two of Charlie Sheen’s cars went down a cliff on Mulholland Drive.
As for how Ashton Kutcher enters the picture, there’s been talk that he buys Charlie’s house after Charlie kicks the bucket.
Sources tell us … the first script still isn’t locked and Lorre often makes changes until close to taping, but it’s pretty clear — Charlie Harper is pushin’ up daisies. (via: TMZ)
Can’t they come up with something better than driving off a cliff? I know they don’t want the possibility of his character ever coming back on the show, but him running away to some exotic island with a woman he has finally decided to becomes exclusive with sounds better than driving off a cliff. What do you think should happen to Sheen’s character?
If you havrn’t heard already, Ashton Kutcher has signed on to star in Two and a Half Men. But, who is he going to play? Will he be replacing Sheen’s character, or are they going to write in a new character?
A new character will probably make more sense. No way Kutcher can jump into Sheens character & pretend like nothing happened. Long lost brother? Cousin? Buisness partner? We will have to wait & see but for now, let’s watch Kutcher at his best.
Tricia had a recurring role on CBS’ Two and a Half Men. Helfer plays Gail, best friend of Charlie’s (Charlie Sheen) fiancé Chelsea (Jennifer Bini Taylor). When Chelsea finds out that her friend is recovering from a breakup, she says she should do so at the boys’ house. Shortly after Chelsea and Charlie begin a trial separation, Gail begins a sexual relationship with Charlie. via: wikipedia.com
